[reno] exterior
So, I've been planning on painting the outside of the house for a while. Every time I've had a few days off, it's either raining or will be raining in a few days. So now that I'm on holidays, it's finally decided to be nice weather... kinda (I'll get to that later).
Sunday - scraped some chipped paint off the house and fence
Monday - power washed the house. Heh, the house is like a completely different colour. =P
Tuesday - removed any old peeling caulking and re-did half of it. We picked up some paintable silicone caulking, and I swear we picked up the clear kind, but apparently it's white. Oops. Good thing I can paint over it haha. Also, we managed to do half the house, and... it decided to start raining about an hour ago. There wasn't any rain in the forecast. F'ing hell... I hope the un-caulked portion of the house will be ok. =S
I'll start painting tomorrow! Yay, it's finally getting done!
