I think it's about time I start doing this meme.
DAY 1 OF 30: FAVORITE SONG
Favorites are essentially relative- with time and space, mood swings, genre, socio-economic class, religion, ceteris paribus being variables. So that's a lot of favorite songs in the visible spectrum. Since that is just my way of saying: I can't decide really, I opened iTunes and found my most frequently played song, and here it is:
Baby by Silver Griffin
Caught this song last December in the credit roll of the movie The Hottie and the Nottie...yeah. Look, there was nothing on the telly that time, okay, and it just so happened I started it so might as well finish it and shit /defensive . So for all the trouble the movie gave me, I'd like to think this song would be my reward - albeit unexpected - for sitting through it.

I've listened to some of the songs in their album, and I liked it! Their sound is upbeat and is genre-bending, which I think is a huge plus for them. It's just too bad they're not that well-known, which is why finding pirate downloads is hard gdi *A* and that they've already disbanded. You can listen to some of their songs in their myspace page. I am seriously thinking of buying their album online aaaa *A*

In other news, I already moved in to the Big Brother house, aka the Staff House! This is only temporary, and I am pretty thrilled to find out how fast I can die of hunger. So here's a personal duty to chronicle my experiences.
NO to HIDDEN CAMERAS AND SURVEILLANCE DEVICES. My very eager BASTOS guy officemates, I am not your inside man. Yes, there are women inside the condo unit, but it's not like they prance around the place topless. :|
AAAND I didn't get to have the napkin person as my roommate. This makes me feel both happy and sad. :|
Appalled to discover that the telly is without cable. My first image of free TV consisted of an actor TAKING A SHOWER. Moments later, I found out that that scene DID NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE PLOT. Also, he happened to be Jake Cuenca, so... =))
All my romanticized notions of the top bunk were all eradicated. IT IS NOT FUNNY HAVING THE LIGHT SO NEAR YOUR FACE OKAY :|
By 11, PEOPLE WERE ALREADY SLEEPING. Wat. Thankfully, I brought the books I borrowed from mushroom18 as efforts to combat boredom and illiteracy. Kitchen by Banana Yoshimoto is a page-turner; I covered 80 pages in 30 minutes (I could be lying). There is something very light and casual in her writing, yet she manages to drive the point home, and it's not as heavy boring as Murakami. I am excited to start George Orwell's 1984 soon :D
Slept before midnight, which is just so un-mooguriklaine. I also woke up early and arrived on time, which is VERY UN-mooguriklaine. I am losing my identity here bit by bit lol.
