we had a really great physics assignment. it was a creative piece - we had to write about our own idea of time. as in another world where time might flow differently. and it was great. i came up with 2-dimensional time. time flows in an outward spiral, and the rest of it is too complicated to explain. but it explains deja vu and memory loss due to age. i really like my essay, and i just sent it to angela to see what she thinks of it. of course it can't be true. or rather it can, but i'll have to work out a few flaws first. i'd love it if i was right and einstein was wrong. but i'd feel bad because he's einstein and it seems sort of disrespectful to prove him wrong when he did so much for us.
i'm going to play around with my essay a little more - maybe work gravity in there somehow. only with my conception of time, the fabric of spacetime will be 5-dimensional instead of 4. i'll have to explain why time moves faster near a stronger gravitational force.
oh god that just gave me an idea.
i'll have to change my idea of time to 3 dimensions. which doesn't make much sense right now, but i'll figure it out. and then the fabric of spacetime would have be 6-dimensional. and gravity would fit in there - it would create the third dimension of time. oh my god this is great i have to go change my essay right now.
