I do not believe this cycle could be described as such. Refia has also told me of this, though she did not mention the Kraken.

We had other fiends protecting the other crystals. Kraken is the only that coincides.
I have faced a couple of the guardians from other trees; they are fearsome indeed. I'm glad to be of service.
