Whatever power Garland is using to bring people here is not limited to one specific time or place. People have been drawn here from many different time periods.

General Sephiroth is from before the incident in Nibelheim.

That is a complicated question.

From what I've seen, he's the person responsible for bringing all of us here. He is attempting to create some sort of...cycle. I don't know the specifics.

[She sounds annoyed about that.]

People are traveling to face him now. It is possible that this will end soon, though...I don't know if any of us will be returned home. That may no longer be possible.

The woman who was assisting the sorceresses in creating portals hope died.

No one has tried to repeat the process, and she indicated that doing so could put the entire planet in danger. I don't believe they will be trying again.

It is technologically primitive, though many of the people arriving from other worlds have brought their technology with them. There are cities from...nine? Separate planets here on Gaia now. Although the number changes occasionally.

The lifestream is here, now.

Interesting.

One has to wonder just how it is possible for elements from so many different worlds to come together here...especially such important elements such as the Lifestream.
