Be careful. The location you have found yourself in is the Veldt- it, and the entire Mist Continent, is over run with monsters.

Several weeks ago, a woman known as Lufene summoned a horde of monsters from the moon. It created enormous devastation, and the Mist Continent still suffers from increased numbers of monsters.

All he could think now was that, since Refia was here, he should have also been here to try to stop it.]

Is there anything to be done aside from slaying the fiends?

There is much that must be accomplished. A man known as Garland is responsible for our presence on this world, and he and Lufene have caused much harm to this world. They both must be stopped.

If this world has summoned another Light Warrior to aid in its defenses, I'll not sit idly by and do nothing. I feel compelled to end this madness by assisting with Garland.

Myself and three others--Luneth, Arc, and Refia--were summoned by the crystals to defeat the darkness. We were referred to as the Warriors of Light, yes. I knew it would only be a matter of time before the crystals set another task upon us, but I had hoped it would not be so soon.

Yes. She and I traveled together some time ago in order to attempt to find Garland's whereabouts. She told me of her and your world, and of the history of the Warriors of Light there.

You owe me no debt, for I merely did as I ought. I have no wish to be repaid for simply doing my duty. However, if you would wish to train together, then I would welcome it, when there is the opportunity.

[He trains himself, of course, and constantly goes out to fight against the monsters that swarm the continent, but it isn't the same as a true match against another fighter.]
