[Edgar has finally managed to get his Phone back, after a great deal of haggling with the moogles to go find the thing. Fortunately it is the same one he dropped in Figaro, more battered, but still very usable, and he wastes little time in making a broadcast. He actually looks pretty good - not exhausted, since Lufene didn't insist on keeping him

I could say the same for you. How are you? I've been worried.

I'd be lying if I didn't say you had reason, but now that I'm out of that incredibly confusing place, I'm doing much better. Cecil has been kind enough to let us recuperate in Troia.

How is Figaro doing?

[And he sighs, heavily.] Figaro has seen better days. I don't think even during the height of the Empire did we sustain as much damage as we did during Lufene's attack, but the Empire was mainly concerned with subjecting the people, not simply wreaking destruction. The castle is still in one piece, but much of the town needs work - people have told me that most of the buildings have damage, about half of them needing immediate repairs. About twenty percent are entirely unlivable and will need to be rebuilt from scratch.

[And now her mind is racing for alternatives.]

...and I'd planned on getting married there.

I'd wondered. [Another sigh, and then he shakes his head.] The castle is untouched, since we submerged it right when the attack began. Would that do, or do you wish to find another venue?

[danceawaypain]

No, it'd be wonderful. But are you sure it won't be too much imposition? You need to be recovering, not hosting a wedding.

[sonoffigaro]

I'm recovered, Penelo. I'm far from the worst hurt during the attack; compared to some others, I got off very lightly. And it would be nice to having something pleasant to concentrate on for once.

Still, I think we might move it back a month to give the town a month to recover. I can't imagine it'll be good to try to cram everything in while people are concentrating on rebuilding.
