[There's been a grumpy general in Figaro for the last few days. Ever since she had to make sure Terra wouldn't run off too soon, Celes has been pretty much staking out Terra's room to be sure the girl isn't disturbed in her rest. Anyone who tries has been met with a few choice words from the blonde.
Today, though, Celes figures it's been long enough to start gathering followers, so she turns on her Sky Phone and prepares her speech. She's sitting in an office-type room, looking strongly down at the screen, with her best no-nonsense expression.]
For those of you who haven't seen what happened, Edgar of Figaro was recently kidnapped in the attack led by Lufene. We believe we know where she's holding him and it's time we took him back. I'm aware that many of you spoke to Terra recently regarding her wish to seek out Edgar. [She pauses briefly.] If you are still interested, I'd like to know. We could use as much help as we can get at this point. If we can convene in Lindblum and take off from there, I will explain more on the way.
The one thing I ask of any of you who volunteer is that you do not fight my authority. I am from the same world as Edgar, and I know him well. I am also a general. Military strategy is my strong suit. If you can tell me, either now or on the way, what your strengths in battle are, I will assign you to a post I believe you best suited for.
Don't fight me... please. [That last word is almost inaudible and her expression falters momentarily before strengthening again.] I need a group that can work together or else this will end with everyone's deaths.
[She's not one to mince words, so she won't be sparing anyone's sensibilities right now. She knows what's at stake and that's Edgar's life. Possibly his sanity, too.]
If you have questions, I'll do my best to answer. I propose we meet in Lindblum in two days' time. From there, we head out as one.
