Winterfest begins in two days. I wonder, is it possible to truly attain forgiveness?

Winterfest is a time for good will and forgiveness, a time of kindness and understanding.

There was a person who wanted to exterminate all human life in my world. I doubt any would forgive him...or that he would want forgiveness.

I fit neither of those criteria, although I have brought around more than my fair share of death.
