[Despite whatever Seymour thought of him, Tidus wasn't stupid. True, he maybe didn't know everything sometimes - or a lot of the time - but he wasn't about to stand around and wait for Seymour by the fountain. All too easy to have the maester sneak up behind him. And while Tidus didn't think he was as far gone as he really was, after the number of times they'd killed him? Yeah, he wasn't about to come unarmed or be a sitting target.]

[So Tidus had shown up ahead of the Guado, but stayed up the street in the direction of the theatre, hiding behind passing bodies and watching the fountain. And when Seymour showed up, that was when he stood and slowly walked over, already tense and just... waiting for something to happen.]
