I was watching the Ellen Degeneres show when at around 3:30 it was interrupted by the news. I was kind of surprised that the death of Michael was considered 'breaking news'. I thought that kind of stuff was reserved for when presidents are shot or when countries go to war. But I guess Michael Jackson was a big deal.

Yeah, Michael Jackson seemed like those people that lived through generations.

I have no idea, and I don't want to ask around coz it might upset people that were closer to him than I was.

I just saw on the news that he died of alcohol poisoning. He had 4x the legal level that a driver should have.

Yeah, I see a lot of my F-List people in LJ are posting about MJ's death. He is the "King of Pop" So I guess news of him passing is like, the sky is falling, kinda. o_o I heard he was a trend setter, a pop setter, and etc.
