Hi! Sorry to have to clarify, but: was this written before or after you joined ff_land? I'm afraid you can't earn points for this if it was written prior to your joining the game. However, you do still earn gil, and you're more than welcome to share previously-written fics: I just need to know for the sake of tagging purposes? Sorry!

And on the fic itself: I'm not really familiar with Before Crisis, and it's been a while since I touched FF7 - but I really like the interaction between Rude and Reno here.

Hi! I read the rules and saw that, and this was indeed written after I was officially stamped. :) (I posted it on my LJ on 8/25.) Hope that's okay!

And thanks so much for your comment on the interaction. I wasn't particularly familiar with Before Crisis until recently, but I watched a bunch of chapters on YouTube because I love Reno and Rude, and I wanted to see what the early BC canon was all about. (Only released in Japan on cellphones, unfortunately.) But this scene struck me as particularly interesting. ^_^

I really liked how you wrote this! I'm not overly familiar with BC, but from how you described the set-up, you did a really great job capturing Reno and Rude's emotions at that time. XD

Thanks so much! I love Reno and Rude, and that's pretty much the entire reason I wanted to write this fic, so I am so pleased that you thought that part was strong.

Oh wow, this fic was incredible. I loved the description you put into this story: the detail in it was absolutely incredible, and you could really tell the emotion from the dialogue and the way the story was written. I'm not insanely familiar with BC, but I think you captured what Reno and Rude must have been going through after that story event insanely well and fitting. Their interaction in this fic was really neat to read! :D

And thanks so much--I'm really glad you enjoyed it. I was really struck by this scene, so I'm happy that some emotional response was conveyed by the whole thing. I love Reno and Rude, and this scene seemed like it could be really pivotal to their relationship, especially since it's before the OG. Thanks again! :)
