Coming back to reality after vacation is never fun. This week has been no exception. Work for me has been frustrating since that transfer is sort of hanging over my head right now. The paperwork is in on my part, but HQ is taking forever to process it. The whole thing may fall through if they dilly dally long enough. That's really stressing me

ticklemerisi and I hope/plan/expect to have a child within the next couple years, so we're certainly not in the mental states you guys are in, but I'm definitely sympathetic. I too have friends who are still wondering 'what they're going to do when they grow up.' Of course, they are grown up, but don't acknowledge it. Parenting certainly must change lots of habits, routines, choices, etc. I'm glad he opened up to you :)

It's amazing how much your life instantly changes as soon as you hear the words..."you're pregnant." It is difficult, but the end results are so worth it!
