Family, Holidays, and Morning Sickness...

I think we finally figured out the Easter dilemma. Since we are apparently expected at both my mom's and my in-laws, it has been a bit of challenge to figure out what we are going to do exactly. They are both serving dinner at 2...we're Italian, we tend to eat early...mostly because it usually involves lots of food and takes a long time. Anyway, my relatives have a long drive back to up-state NY, so the plan is to eat early so they can get on the road. What we didn't know, was that my husband's relatives (who are coming from VA) are spending the night and not leaving until Monday. That makes things much easier. So, we are having dinner with my mom and dessert with my in-laws.

Although, eating is something that has not been practically easy lately. I'm not sure how much, if anything at all, I'll be able to eat of Easter dinner or dessert. Apparently, I eat when and what my body tells me to eat right now. For example, my husband got home early yesterday and spent a good amount of time making an Irish style beef stew that he knows that I love. Yeah, I took one bite and went running for the bathroom. I felt bad because he tried to do something so sweet and I just couldn't stomach it. So, instead of eating Irish stew, I had saltines and ginger ale...mmmm tasty! I've learned that the smell of my shampoo can make my stomach do back flips, as well as cole slaw and the produce aisle of the grocery store. I would also like to know who the moron is that came up with the term "morning sickness." There is no such thing. It's more like anytime it feels like sickness, I don't think it owns a watch.
