My new blog/homepage electrophotonic.com is open!
This is also the reason I've hardly touched any social media the last weeks. I've been messing with my home server, setting up this self-hosted blog.
We'll see where this goes. I'll be writing primarily about (electronic) music and (analog) photography, but also about pirates, gaming, computers, and just old fashioned blogging in general. It's also a place to archive writings in general, and in the future I hope to incorporate a gallery and some other stuff.
Comments will be public after approval (just an anti-spam measure), and if you have a Gravatar it should show up (check that service out, it's neat). Oh, and the background image rotates every hour, see if you can catch 'em all!!1
Mind you, this journal isn't dead. I'll be cross-posting most of the stuff from electrophotonic.com here, and of course, you won't find those rare friends-only posts in that public space.
Oh right, please tell me if the site feels sluggish. I should be set bandwidth-wise, but the server hosting this isn't exactly the speediest. 800MHz PowerPC G4. \o/ Thank god for the Debian project.
