I wish all the houses around here were like that one... the first picture is of it's indoor porch, much like what you would find in a Southern house.

I wonder if you could find a scrap yard of just old doors somewhere...

yeah...there is a scrap yard of old doors here in baton rouge. but the south in general is a junk yard. that's why i love it so much. i love abandoned things, like hotels.

Oh man, I wish I had the photos and video from that hotel! Have you been back since? I was thinking about being in there the other day. It's too bad we didn't return to take what we left right behind that broken plywood hole.

I agree, I thought the same thing when I saw it. The reason why it's highly untouched by vandals is that one has to be lucky enough to be around when the rottweiler is still in it's cage (I'm not joking).
