What fandoms did you acquire in 2010?
ASDFGHJKL Leverage, Sherlock. Hawaii Five-0, The Vampire Diaries, The Big Bang Theory, Merlin (very very early on in the year). awakencordy brought me back to Doctor Who *hugs awakencordy and Eleven*
What fandoms did you let go of in 2010?
I had a brief stint with Parenthood, but I kind of got bored - it might have gone into the category of 'will catch up with it after season is over', I'm not sure.
What fandoms did you mean to get into but didn't in 2010?
Can't think of any, really.
What fandoms do you intend to check out in 2011?
I don't have anything in mind. All the shows I got into this year weren't really preplanned, they just happened, so who knows.
What fandoms do you think you might let go of unless things significantly improve in 2011?
Parenthood, as specified above, but that's kind of already happened.
What fandoms do you think you'll never let go of no matter how crappy they get? Why?
Supernatural! Fangirl here. XD And Glee, probably. Even at times when I shipped no one and wasn't too happy with one episode or two, I still watched it, because it cheered me up, it was the happy fandom moment of the week.
What show impressed you most in 2010?
Supernatural: 2010 was the year for SPN to reinvent itself, and I think it did it wonderfully. Sure, not everyone's going to be happy with it - hell, that was why Smallville lost me - but I love the direction it's going, I love how it's making us all think and ponder and WRITHE IN PAIN over hellatus. But that's a normal occurrence. ;)
Glee: So many things amazed me of this show. Numbers such as I Want To Hold Your Hand, Teenage Dream, Like A Prayer, Le Jazz Hot, the wedding numbers, and many others left me with such love for this show, and such amazement. Also, all of Heather Morris, in every episode, mostly in the Britney one. The birth scene of Quinn's baby was astounding. Kurt's storyline has me at the edge of my seat, and Chris Colfer blew my mind with both his acting range and his voice range!
Hawaii Five-0: This show impressed me mostly for the oodles and oodles of slash you can pile up into a 42-minute show. XD
Sherlock / Doctor Who: Both astounding shows in writing and in visuals. They're simply beautiful.
Merlin: LOVE LOVE. I fell for the look, the feel, the writing, the acting. I love it even when I criticize it. XD
YEAR IN REVIEW
1. What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
I... did well in uni? XD I learned to drive, I got my driver's license!
Mostly personal growth stuff, nothing outlandish or physical stuff like, I don't know, bungee jumping, or skydiving. And I have a thing against heights, so I wouldn't be doing any of it either. XD
2. Did you keep your New Years resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
New Year's Resolutions aren't too common down here. Which is just as well, since I doubt I'd be able to keep any. XD
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yeah, an old friend I talk to every now and then. A baby boy!
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Not close-close, no, thank goodness.
5. What countries did you visit?
NONE. Unless Narnia and Neverland count. ;)
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
A bit more conviction to keep my resolutions? That would be good.
7. What dates from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory and why?
August 18, first driving school lesson. September 13, Driver's license! April 30, when my bag was stolen, and I WEPT. Birthdays, Christmas.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I PUT MY FOOT DOWN AND LEARNED TO DRIVE. I got my license, I'm feeling proud about myself because of that.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Uni stuff. As usual. *grumbles*
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I've been carrying around a bronchitis since the start of November, which is annoying, but it's a light thing, so it's not that bad. Some bouts of allergy. And my body decided to release all the stress of exams by fucking with my menstrual cycle. It's back to normal now, though.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
BOOKS. Books are always the best buy. And, well, my iPod touch and the camera I bought to replace the one that was stolen.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
I know so many people whose behavior merits celebration, everyday. Friends, acquaintances, some celebrities. Luckily, this world is full of people with exemplary behavior.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
My mum and I have been (silently) clashing lately. She's a got a bit of an intolerant streak in her, and I'm leaving that mildly.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Books, uni, and trivial stuff like food and expenses. XD
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
My goddaughter's 2nd birthday. Holidays! Outings with friends.
Fandom: Glee's Kurt/Blaine. Supernatural season premiere. Harry Potter!
16. What song will always remind you of 2010?
TEENAGE DREAM. Hands down. Teenage Dream sung by the awesome Darren Criss and the Dalton Warblers.
But also, Not Alone and Goin' Back to Hogwarts.

New iPod and camera when mine got stolen.

Snow in winter, more willpower, a Tardis.

I'm not much for fashion, but I go for the basics of look good, feels good, and is properly color coordinated.

Gay rights! Same sex marriage was approved down here a few months ago. :D

Family who's gone. A friend I haven't properly talked to in a while.
