HOLIDAYS! UNI IS OVER. At least for two months. BUT NO MORE CLASSES OR FINALS TILL THE END OF FEBRUARY. \o/
And not only is uni on hiatus, all my shows are too. D: Supernatural, Glee, Vampire Diaries, Hawaii Five-0, Merlin, everything. Thank goodness for Leverage next Sunday, but still - what after it? :,(
I was going to go to my goddaughter's first ever performance at kindergarten (she's 2 1/2 and dancing as a sailor girl ♥), but then the kindergarten limited the amount of people per family that could attend, and the mother's in laws are kind of bitchy, so they're in and I'm out :( I understand, otherwise every family would bring no less than 10 people to watch, but I'm still kinda bummed. Still, they're going to be taking pictures and filming, so at least I'll see it indirectly.
HERE BEGINS THE DARREN GUSHING
So, I was watching this part of this interview (there's 5 parts total):

You guys he is gushing about Disney movies. LIKE THE FANBOY HE IS. I mean, we knew, he's covered just about every Disney song that's going around, but what gets me about him as a whole is that he's not someone talented and who sees his opportunity to make it big - you can't get bigger than Glee these days - and takes it and leaves behind all that makes him, well, human. He's not perfect, he flubs things, he gets nervous, he's a dork, he's a nerd. He eats an apple while he's being interviewed. He talks with a grin about the time in his life where all that mattered were the Beatles, Star Wars and Disney Movies. And he can sing like that, he can play the piano, drums, guitar, violin, and who knows what the fuck else.
Is it weird that I like celebrities better when I see the as human and not as perfect and flawless?
Also? A++++ for the comment on Hunchback of Notre Dame. DARREN, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE? No, I mean it, I love that movie, I adore that movie. It is so different from the rest of the movies, and it always kind of got me down how forgotten it is. It's beautiful, it's tense, and dark - do you remember what topics it deals with? Really, listen to Darren, go watch it again.
HERE ENDS THE DARREN GUSHING
Also, his cover of 'When You Wish Upon A Star'? You can hear the collective 'aww' moment that goes around the crowd. XD Priceless
A car alarm just started blaring outside my window. I've got the windows closed, headphones on with the interview at top volume AND I CAN STILL HEAR THE ALARM. *headdesks*
