Watching a special on the Beatles' 40th anniversary of their break up. I'm all nostalgic now.
Uni update!
To those I've friended since the last time I talked about this, I live in a small town 50 km outside Buenos Aires, which is where my uni is. I stay at BA three days of the week because a) I can't drive yet (hopes are next year I will) b) Taking the bus would mean getting up at 3 am every day & c) my mum has an apartment in BA, which I take advantage off, because it's free. XD
And yes, I'm total small town girl. I miss my town while here. I miss everyone, including my dog, which misses me a ridiculously amount. She's been sleeping in my bed, which she never does. :(
We changed buildings this year! The old one was, well, old. It was a very old building refurbished a million years ago and turned into a uni building. It was cold in the winter, warm in the summer and had a million stairs. I'm not sports girl so, trust me when I say the stairs killed me. But it was my building, and I loved it! So many nooks and crannies, so much history. One of my professors loves it as much as I do, and she gushed about missing the building in class. ^__^
The new building is literally a newborn, still not fully formed. But It has modern things like central heating and dry erase whiteboards (I'm nto kidding. That's how old the other building was) I like it, actually. I was feeling a bit of contempt on the first day until i saw it had a patio and a coffee machine which delivers LOOOVELY coffee. (What? I need to be caffeinated for some classes!). I'm warming up to it.
What PISSES ME OFF though, is that once again they've botched my timetables. One of my subjects' schedules needs to be changed, which blows because this is the fourth year this professor does this in a row. FOURTH YEAR. It's not like I'm too wild about the subject, because it's heavy and complicated, but the professors has botched the timetable so many times that now I want to take it just on principle! ARGH.
I've no idea when they are going to change the subject to, I've already got classes every day. If they change it to anywhere after 10 am, I'm screwed. But screwed with a free day, which is always a plus, even when it's a bummer. *grumbles*
On other news, the Starbucks around the corner from my apartment is bad, bad baaaad because it's got good coffee. I resisted to their donuts today, but I won't for long. XD
I ordered take out pizza and now it's here. I'm off to eat. *takes bite* Man, this is good pizza! Nice crust, lots of cheese, nice sauce/cheese ratio. I'd share if you were here.
