(no subject)
I am all packed, though I feel very disorganized. It's not like I haven't been through this weekend six times, but I'm not used to having to pack for it. I have a gi and everything that goes with that, a set of nice clothes, some casual clothes, birding stuff, books, a pile of papers about eelgrass (yay). It should be nice down there but pretty cool in the evenings.
I'm getting picked up sometime between 8:00 and 8:30 tomorrow morning, after R and S drop off their dogs. I will be a much quieter replacement in the back seat, I think. (I think I may be able to talk!) Mark stopped by my office today and asked me some questions about what he needs to bring and what the schedule is. I hope I told him what he needs to know. I'll pick him up from the airport Friday and he'll help out with the cost of the rental car.
Tentative plans to meet Roger for lunch on Friday. I'm looking forward to a day of birding in that area as well.
