Been a while
OK, so it's been a bit of time since I have written here and for all intents and purposes updated everyone as to what is going on and what is not going on in my life.
Michigan was OK, probably going back again in June to help some more. Nope, I still have not found a full time job. Yes, I am considering going back to college and finishing my undergraduate degree.
My birthday was pretty cool. Started out as a not too amazing day, in fact it felt like just a day. Then krysitney with much love to her boss, got off of work early so we could spend some time together. Lunch was had and then in sued the fastest shopping event I believe I have had in quite some time. 4 stores in about 1.5 hours. We found a dress and undergarments for my dinner with Drew that evening. (whew). I was surprised when we arrived at the dinner destination and it was at Chops. It has been so long since I have dined there. The food was superb the wine was excellent. Even the oysters we had were so fresh. I even had a martini that tasted like a chilled liquid thin mint! Drew ordered the Kobe steak... wow... never have I tasted bovine of that richness and aw hell it was damn good. Probably will not have that for a very long time. After dinner came home relaxed and opened my gift - horray a replacement I-pod for the one I have that is dying a slow death (kicking and screaming all the way).
Today I get to sit around and wait for the maintenance people to show up and rip out all the caulking and most of the grout from the bottom of our shower as well as test the inside unit of the A/C for freon leaks. Maybe things will get fixed for a change. I pray that all this is done BEFORE my birthday party on the 18th.
***Prays, please please please finish fixing the air conditioning to limit our pollen suffering and finish the repairs on the shower to ease our mold suffering... OK, just ease the allergies***
