Laugh, and the World Laughs With You
Yes, there is a lot of pain and depression that I see with a lot of friends and acquaintances out on good ol' Immeritus. We each have our problems, and we each just need to work through those problems as best as we can. Included in that group, is me. Slowly, step by step, perhaps I will be able to come out of my mess, too. It still will require a lot of time and patience, both from me as well as from all of you. Maybe it is indeed the wintery season that brings out so much sadness . .
HOWEVER . . .
*has giggling laugh on my face*
Someone, and I am not going to say whooooo . . . *coughs, Siri, cough, cough* made me laugh this morning. I mean, really, full tilt, red in the face, giggling and roaring laughter. I haven't done that in a long, long time. Now I remember what it was like and what her humor was like. The real funny thing about it, was that it was me laughing at MYSELF. Finally, I got to laugh again, and join in the poking of myself, if just for a little while. Thank you, you certain someone, you! *nudges, coughs, Siri, coughs, coughs* It's about time we laughed, even if that still means that both that someone and I are still in a state of misery. And, *smiles*, I want to thank the rest of you for putting up with me all this time. I won't forget that, old friends. Much thanks.
But the imporant thing is . . . I laughed today! Finally! And it came from the person I have always cared about and for!
