First, yet another quiz tagged and done, though the results are not really shocking:

The Keys to Your Heart

You are attracted to those who are unbridled, untrammeled, and free.

In love, you feel the most alive when your lover is creative and never lets you feel bored.

You'd like to your lover to think you are loyal and faithful... that you'll never change.

You would be forced to break up with someone who was ruthless, cold-blooded, and sarcastic.

Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks to the future... one you can grow with.

Your risk of cheating is low. Even if you're tempted, you'd try hard not to do it.

You think of marriage as something precious. You'll treasure marriage and treat it as sacred.

In this moment, you think of love as commitment. Love only works when both people are totally devoted.
What Are The Keys To Your Heart?

Ruthless, Cold-blooded, and Sarcastic, not to mention Unfaithful? Hmmm, why does that seem so familiar? I will give you three guesses as to who! But I guess there is no one that does "Scathing" as she does. Imagine that.

I have been reading a lot, lately. Recently, I read one book that truly gave me perspective on things . . . and admittedly I was exhausted from crying from this book that I could barely sleep. I kept having more and more visions, and some were almost TOO life-like, feeling such pain, such as seeing the trampled Juliek with frost on him and seeing his broken violin on his chest. What was the book, you ask?

The newer translation of . . .

Night, by Elie Wiesel.

Don't even speak to me about "apologies for hurting you" or "humanity". Don't even TRY to lecture me about what is "right" or what is "wrong" or "I took the High Road, you took the Low Road". You have no idea. You will never have a idea, and that is what is truly sad and pathetic about you. And some people being inhuman, sarcastic, and ruthless believe acting in such a way is "so much fun" and would like everyone to join them. *shakes head* These people truly have no conception of humanity or history. I don't forget. I can't forget. I will not forget. It is so amazing that we say, as Wiesel said, "Never Again", and yet, in big and subtle ways, it still happens over and over again. I guess we have not progressed as much as we think we have. I . . . I am so ashamed of all that we have done, and for those that I refer to, all that we continue to do. Shame, regret, introspection, self-control . . . these are all important to morality. They are not impediments or things to just say, "Oh well" to and shrug your shoulders.

I understand what part of my family went through to leave Poland and come to America in the 1930s. I understand it, now. I choose to be more human than less human. It is indeed all about our choices. Many choose foolishly.

In other news, my father is very, very sick right now and the family is a bit of a mess. I am not doing so well, either.
