Wandering

Mar 14, 2010 02:06

Silence burning in my ears,

corrupting everything I hear.

Walls are quickly closing in

Making my head spin.

Trapped in unknown lands

I wander barefooted and cold.

Wishing for a kindred soul,

wishing for something known.

The dark moon rises, shining

A spark of hope fills me.

Light my path in this silver dawn

Let me find the key.

I wonder these unknown lands

Bare-naked and wide-eyed,

Like a newborn child,

Hoping the stars will be my guide.
