RIP ... for a coffee prince well great actor.

It’s sad to hear when someone so young dies.

--> true, especially when you least expect it. He's a great actor I believe and he deserves something more that what he have already achieved. I really like his character in his coffee prince kdrama though I didn't remember his name then (GMA dubbed)

Model turned actor Lee Eon has died tragically in a motorcycle accident early this morning on his way from from a wrap-up party for for KBS’s drama Strongest Chil Woo. The 27 year old crashed into the guard rail of the elevated roadway in Hanam-dong. He is said to have died on impact.

--> motorcycle incidents in korean entertainment is a bit popular. I don't know why they are fond of riding a motorcycle even they know how many fans might caught them driving or worse... kill them as tragic as to what happened to Lee Eon.

Model and actor, Lee Eon’s tragic and sudden death has come as a shock to the entire entertainment community. Family, friends and fans are still reeling in disbelief at the loss. The stars have been coming to pay their last respects to the actor at Soon-chun-hyung University hospital since the early morning. One of the first to pay respects, Yun Eun-hye arrived in tears as did fellow Coffee Prince co-star Kim Jae-wook. His co-star Eric received the phone call at soon after the accident at 3 am and headed directly to the hospital along with cast and crew.

--> I thought Eun Hye haven't arrived yet. But I think she's one of those early arrived at his funerals. Coffee Prince casts and crews really have a well bond.

More details are surfacing regarding the crash. The accident occurred at approximately 1:30 am. Soon after, emergency crews arrived and performed CPR, but the actor was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. The police suspect drinking was the cause of the accident, but Lee Eon’s manager maintains that the actor rarely drinks and usually gets driven around rather than taking the motorbike. Police are still trying to piece together what happened.

--> I think if you come from a party it is pretty normal to guess it was because of driving with the influence of alcohol, though I don't want yet to believe it.

Having his start in modeling, Lee Eon rose to fame in last year’s successful drama, Coffee Prince as Min Yub

Lee Eon’s funeral will start today at Soon-cheon-hyang University Hospital in Hanam-dong. Funeral service and cremation will be held on August 23rd 2008.

RIP LEE EON (1981 - 2008)
