We Kicked Butt in Show Choir!!!
Friday night was a lot of fun. I went to the play with Amy, Melissa, and Angela. Devin, Ashley, Allison, and Olivia sat behind us and Brad, JD, Ben, and some other people were there that I don't get to talk to as often as I should. It was really funny though. Owen (who was sleeping!!!), did a very good job with his part, and so did Jared. lol, Jared with eyeshadow on, I will never forget that. Yeah, but Zach was the best, he was so much fun to watch, and Monica was really cute in her dress. Hmmm... Matt made his charater stand out really well too.
Saturday was chaotic as usual, but show choir always is. It took us three hours to get to Ft. Madison, and that's a really long trip on a school bus, not a charter bus, a school bus. Yeah, but it was awesome. Garrels and Chruchman told us to leave Ft. Madison with a strong finish because this was our last competition year there (they've become so disorganized it's ridiculous), and we did.
Ramification got best vocals, best band (yeah, yeah!), and Grand Champions. Woot! We, Vocal Gold, were five points away from making finals. FIVE! But the ironic thing was that we got a higher score than the 2A group that made it into finals, but because the system is completely screwed up we didn't get into it, though we rightfully should have.
So ha!
And that's all I have to say. If you see me dancing around school on Monday, ^ that's why.
