Imagine all the people, living for today...

Eee, welcome, welcome, stomach flu! You're just what I needed! *bobs head around, singing* I guess you're just what I needed!

Bah. I wanted to go to school today. Buuut, mom called, and I casually mentioned that said stomachy thingy made me sick twice this morning, and then going on about how I was ready for school. Mom didn't think that was such a good idea. I guess this, among many other things, can be part of mono. I just luckily haven't gotten it up until this point. I mean, my appetite is still in tact, its just keeping the food with me that isn't fairing so well. Er, yeah. Enough details. ^^ *whines* I want to go to schoool.... I'm all pumped up for it! I'm just happy I've been excercizing lately. I like feeling physically strong and able, so I'm not feeling miserable. Mom just thought it'd probably be better #1, in case I'm contageous, and #2, being it came on so suddenly, she doesn't want me to randomly embarass myself (and in the process gross everyone else out) during class, and I don't blame her there. Wouldn't be good for me. :P

Wheee, sooo, that leaves me here. Hair cooperated this morning while getting ready (I was actually about 15 minutes away from being picked up by my carpool and taken to school), but being I'm at home all day I decided staying in my school clothes wouldn't be any fun. Sooo, I pulled out the red running outfit and white tanktop! Hurrah! I match!

Oooh, this past weekend needs a mentioning... Oh! And confirmation on the 7th was completely awesome. Went out to dinner with Fr. Creagan, Matt (Yay! Matt from the mission trip!), Melissa, Jennifer (all in their 20's-- went on the trip with us last year), my parents, Q, Q's parents and his brother Tucker, and Katelynn. Katelynn was just randomly thrown in at the last minute. :P Was so awesome-- at the restaraunt until 12:30 or so. Dropped Katelynn off around 1:00, came home, did my homework, then had a wonderful half day at school the next day. Yay. Anyways, the benefit dinner went really well, though our bum house decided to fall over as the skit was starting. Oooh, our bum house! Looked completely awesome! Best prop there. Better than the trash can. Of course, a get together of the SHS family (I swear, we're like a bunch of dysfunctional siblings) would never be compelte without some drama. Two people had a bit of a "mini scream-out" during the day, leading to some other problems after the dinner was over. Ah well, they got it cleared up, and like always, we're peachy again. Not completely peachy, but peachy. ^^ We all went to Katie's afterwards-- messed around there; borrowed some huge pj pants of Katie's mom's (huge meaning the elastic wasn't quite what it used to be) and a basketball tshirt, made the pants into capris, and ran around the firepit outside with everyone else like a lunatic. Was muuuuchly fun. :D

XD... just for my own memory's sake, because in the moment, this was just too great. While said drama was occurring after the dinner was over, two people were in the bathroom discussing it, and a few tears were involved. I respected their privacy, but at the same time, I really had to go to the bathroom! After Katelynn and Hannah voiced their agreeance on having to go, Marissa and Katie finally said, "Why don't you just use the guys'?" Sooo, we sent Q and Jared to guard the doors and make sure the bathroom was empty while we went, though while we were washing our hands they thought it'd be funny to send some people in by telling them that there was "a little kid in there doing something weird... just... go check it out. You'll see." XD I think the people who walked in were just as surprised as we were. May have been one of those "You had to be there" moments.

Strong urge to go whip out my sketch book or take pictures. Or something.
