rm517: useless baseball trivia
I was at the gym trying to listen to the radio, but instead I tuned into one of the televisions showing the Red Sox/Angels game. In the course of 30 minutes, the announcers talked about the Angels winning the 02 series approximately ONE BILLLLION times.
The snarky bitch in me piped up: "Well, that's all you get to talk about since that's the only one you'll ever win!!!"
I mean, seriously ... they just talked about the World Series, blah, blah, bla. Then they mentioned that chump Tim Salmon and then all the bad memories flooded my memory.
But, I digress. For a team that didn't have any fans before '02, the announcers seem to be eating their life story up. Psh.
