SENIOR BALL.

Jun 08, 2006 14:54

Initially, I wasn't going to go. Then I was going to go alone. But through (much) convincing, prodding, and nudging, I decided to go and go with a date. Mitty can be so annoying. But I guess I am glad I went because prom was awesome and very memorable.

So pictures. Beware. They are very ME-centric... but then this is my lj, so what am I saying?

A quick run through of my night:

George came to pick me up around 2:45. Well, actually like around 2:55. And he came bearing flowers which apparently is cute. Then the parentals took pictures, and we went off to school to take more pictures, and then we went to George's to take even MORE pictures. And THEN we went to Deanna's house to... you guessed it... take MORE pictures. So there was a lot of picture taking. We went the restaurant and the guys kept whispering. So Alison and I pretended to whisper things to each other to try to be annoying. When it was clear they were planning something, Alison said we should come up with a way to embarrass the guys. The guys, however, took us by surprise and fricking sang to us at the restaurant. So, in retaliation, we sang "Be A Man"... a capella! We rocked. Then we went to prom. Prom was a lot of waiting in line. A lot. I saw a lot of things I didn't want/need to on the dance floor but that's to be expected. We tried to go bowling, but alas, it was closing in half an hour so we went to go get food instead. Frances and I got a Jack Pepper Scramble or whatever and it was quite good. Then we tried to go to Wal-Mart because Mitty was convinced it was open 24/7... well it's not. So we returned to my house to watch a movie. Halfway through, we decided to go watch the sunrise. Well, there were mountains blocking us so we said screw it and called it a night at 6 a.m.

Me pretending to put on George's boutonniere. For the record though, I managed to pin it back on later when I removed the blue netting.

Outside by my lovely fountain.

Me with my sister.

George and I outside of the limo.

My shoes and George's. You can see his gray socks. They had little black hearts on them!

Marcus and George.

Some of the guys at dinner.

According to Eddie, the "BEST PICTURE OF GEORGE, EVER!!!!"

The guys, singing to us at the restaurant. Oh boy. That was interesting. You can see Berdick and Eddie holding the lyrics.

Eakta, proposing a toast.
