Quick update on my ears
I do indeed have an ear infection, although the doctor is quite perplexed as to how I got it, and especially how I got it in both ears, since I have no other cold symptoms of any kind. Great. I love it when my medical conditions perplex the experts (much like my weird blood-poisoning episode of July 2001.)
So, it's ear drops and antibiotics and three days of doctor-imposed staying home from work and hanging out on the couch with my book and eating every now and then when it doesn't hurt to chew. And TV - I knew the closed captioning would come in handy at some point, and so it does. Supposedly, if my ears don't clear up significantly by tomorrow, I'm to call the doctor back and she's going to refer me to an ENT so they can take a closer look at what's going on. I guess that means if they don't open, I should call her? Or rather, have my mother call her since my using the phone is right out at this point. Wheeeeeeeeeee.
So that's that. I'm still kind of miserable, but getting better.
And now I will go watch the pretty thunderstorm.
