I saw Crystal Castles last night
INTENSE.
Had it been another band, I wouldn't have enjoyed getting suffocated and constantly elbowed in the neck and boob. Allow me to be fangirly for a moment and say I TOUCHED ALICE GLASS when she crowdsurfed lol. She is a fucking god in my worldddddd.
I didn't take any pictures or record any videos... I didn't feel like holding the camera, and its not like I would've been able to get anything. So I gave the camera to Steven and he took pictures and recorded videos.
We waited around in the back of the venue to see if alice would come out, and she did, but only for a short moment as she was ushered out. Sucks because STEVEN ran to her w/ the camera, took a myspace angle-esque picture with her, then she left. FUCK.
but blah.
It was a fun little mini road trip. We got the 50 piece chicken nuggets and took advantage of sonic's happy hour, for once. We sang along loudly on the highway to whatever was playing and was singing it to cars with open windows.
The drive back, we were behind a truck that was carrying pigs and as I drove by he was staring at us. Steven made the "honk your horn" (or whatever it is) motion and he did and that has never happened to me before lol.
Today, I'm going with Marty to re-take the accuplacer.
