Dead memory waste
Welp, my turn to make a post. I just spent like an hour reading through everyone's new posts. My god! There was like 60!! Oh the insanity. :)
I think I am just going to list things... don't feel like writing a formal post. :)
Wedding invitations will be available after 10pm at Denny's all week. I am spending the day tomorrow getting them ready. I may need to request phone numbers from people so I can get a hold of others, so they can receive theirs.
We finally got our wedding rings. Do you know how... giddy that makes you? It's insane. For the past three days (or so) I've been ecstatic. It makes me want to burst into song and dance. More then anything, when we went and ordered our rings, it seemed real. We're getting married. But to physically have them in our possesion... Oh my god. It awakens the Younger Self, I'm telling you.
I forgot to have my bachlorette party, how dorky is that!? I didn't even realize it until like 5 this afternoon, after it was too late to start the drinking and merriment, since Epicwhat had to be back on base by 6:30. Awful! Oh well. I don't care much, because I'd rather have spent the weekend with him, which I did.
I keep noticing little things that I am going to miss when we move. Like how well I know the freeways between Orcutt and San Luis Obispo. I know every turn, building, hill and sign in between. I know the populations of Nipomo (9,280) and AG (16,607)... I once knew the pop. of SM but I don't recall it off the top of my head. The particular hills we have. The ocean. Saying I live 20 minutes from the beach. How cool is that? Driving through town and knowing at least one person per every three cars. Seeing people I knew since they were 5, and are now 18, 19 or 20.
But onward and upward. I'm not scared about moving. In fact, I am really excited, and I look at it as a new challenge. I've got snuggling with my husand, exploring the areas around our new home, CANADA and refraining from saying "Ca-nai-di-ah" and calling them Canooks... If I come to visit and I talk funny, someone make fun of me. Hardcore.
Today Epicwhat and I had an entire conversation on my stomach with pen. That was really funny. We came home and took a picure of it. I can't wait to get these cameras developed. There are tons of sleeping baby ferret pictures, because that was all I could do when I first got him. I also took some funny pictures of Epicwhat's face, so I can build a collage. Like you know the people who take tons of pictures of one thing, and create that item out of all the pictures they took? I'm going to do that. :) It should be interesting nonetheless.
Had a really funny dream last night. I can't remember most of the first one. Involved large living robots and creatures and Harry Potter weirdness. The second involved fighting with people I have not met yet, and driving a taffy purple VW Bug ALL over the place, running people over, driving over things they had in front yards... FUN. I've been having vividly strange dreams lately.
I was SICK last week. Sick as a DOG. I had, probably, a 105 temperature, which is vouched by the fiance, who was worried. My head was pounding so bad, it felt like someone had split it in half with a red hot axe. And the rest of the week was spent suffering from an EXTREMELY bad sore throat. But I'm better now, and Caayn has it. :) He was just as sick as I was, with just as bad of a fever. I had to stuff him full of all sorts of things to make him better. (No one should be allowed to get sick around me. I'm FORCED to make chicken soup with all sorts of stuff in it, and a lot of garlic, and pills, and sleep, and tea...)
I've been reading this book called the "Ultimate Unofficial Guide to the Mysteries of Harry Potter". OH MY GOD. If you are totally obsessed with HP, you MUST have this book. So far, they only analyze the first 4 books, because it came out before the 5th, but still.... it opens your eyes! I hope the publish one for the fifth book. I'd like to see what they say. :)
Anyway. I'm off. Still not tired, but I am going to shut this off and hope to sleep. Take care everyone, and I shall see you all at Denny's sometime this week.
