Well, it looks like Georgia had a stroke.
I am despondent. Her back legs are shaky. She stares at me desperately when I ask her to walk. She has trouble mounting the two steps into our house.
At first I thought I had given her too much aspirin (medication for a puncture wound that Blitzen inflicted in her lovely little cheek), and that they had burned holes in her stomach lining and she was full of bloody ulcers. I was like, "Oh great. She's dying. It's my fault."
But I just saw her poop, and it's normal. So she's not full of blood. And can aspirin, even too much of it, eat through her spine or cause a brain hemmorhage?
Also, the aspirin has enteric coating. Apparently dogs can't digest the coating, so the pills tend to come out whole, meaning: this episode has nothing to do with the aspirin probably.
So now I have to go down to Larry Dunn's vet office in hell land (hell land = any place in rural Rhode Island difficult to get to) and I need to gas up the car.
Bad day so far.
