Hi there. I haven't been around for a really long time now. For the sake of procrastination, I've decided to post. At this moment, I should be packing to go to Florida for business and preparing to train several experienced sales people. Instead I'm writing to you nice folk out there.
So I've become pretty obsessed with a Taiwanese TV show called "Ming Zhong Zhu Ding Wo Ai Ni." Apparently, a lot of people in Taiwan are also obsessed. Too bad I don't know anybody that watches these shows or else I'd have someone else to gush with about the crazy antics of this week's episode (It runs pretty much like a telenovela so you can imagine that it gets pretty ridiculous; but I love it all the same).
I recently purchased a beginner's road bike, a Specialized Vita. This was due to several months of prompting from one of the managers at my company. Well, that and I don't really like driving to work. Nor do I like sitting all day. Ok, so I guess I have several reasons for buying the bike. Anyways, I had to find a shop that carried the extra small frame because most bikes are way too big for me, which almost everyone finds very amusing, not including myself. I look forward to riding it after I get back from Florida.
I've been looking for a new apartment for several months now. There was a hole in the ceiling of my current one for a while, which gave me a little more motivation to be more active in my search. The more I think about it, the more I think I should live in White Plains. It would give me the closest thing to city life that I know, though I've been hit on by teenage boys twice now just by walking the streets there. You would think I'd be flattered, but I'm more annoyed than anything else.
I am exhausted. Besides my usual workload, one of my coworkers went on vacation and decided it was okay to pass on his pending cases to me. That pissed me off a little since he knew I was busy this week with a project, which I was thrown into with little allowed time for preparation. So I had three different things to juggle: my cases, his cases, and my project. All of this combined resulted in plenty of unsatisfied customers. Ah, the loveliness of working in customer support. Hopefully, my request for more training overseas will go through. If it does, it'll mean two weeks in Europe in lieu of the office =). Oh, and I also ended up staying out way too late on Friday and Saturday night =P.
Anyways, I hope you are all well. I know how much of an internet hermit I can be. I'm slowly trying to actually immerse myself in this strange thing you guys call an online community. Maybe one day, I'll actually bother to sign on my screen name!
