LJ Advisory Board election
I haven't really been giving this much attention this year since it was such a washout last year. I haven't been able to believe that it will make much difference, and for similar reasons my favorite candidate decided not to run again this year.
Regardless of my apathetic feeling, there are still determined souls out there who want to try for it this year, and a couple of people I know are still trying to gain enough support to run. LJ upped the minimum from 100 to 300 supporters this year.
I invite you to consider webqatch (http://community.livejournal.com/lj_election_en/29183.html) or radiantsoul (http://community.livejournal.com/lj_election_en/27886.html) - or both of them, since you can support more than one candidate. Both of them are prepared to make a difference if they can.
But if you want to support anyone at all, please remember that nominations close on Friday, June 19, 2009, at 4:30 p.m. PDT, and have your say soon!
