We especially want to reach those sometimes-y once-in-a-blue-moon people who would otherwise miss it. You know, like the folks who keep wandering in and didn't know that the old TSRN server had gone away back in December, or that the Newsroom Server was created for the Election Broadcast and we've been using it ever since...

killernurd suggests XMMS/Audacious for Linux users, WinAmp for Windows users and iTunes for Mac users.

TinyChat requires no existing IM account, although if you choose, you can login with a Twitter account, and it will automatically post the chatroom link to Twitter for you.
XMPP (jabber) chatroom specifics: Room Name: topsecretradionetwork Server: conference.jabber.org (If you have a Gmail address or a LiveJournal account, you already have an XMPP identity ready to use.)
Or, IM (not email) to montuos at gmail dot com (or montuos at livejournal dot com) to get an invite into the XMPP room.
Note to Google Talk users: The stand-alone Google Talk client does not support multi-user chat, and although the chat function in Gmail does support group chat, it does not support chatrooms - go figure.
For a web-based IM client, try meebo (a multi-protocol client), or the Google Talk Gadget (does not support AIM, and has some other problems) instead. For a stand-alone multi-protocol IM client, I advise Pidgin (free, and multi-platform) or Trillian (Windows-only; Basic is free, but currently you still need Pro ($25) for the jabber plugin, although once Trillian Astra is finally released, all plugins are supposed to be included in Basic). Feel free to give me (montuos) suggestions if there's a different client you particularly like.
AIM chatroom specifics: Room Name: topsecretradionetwork Exchange: 5
Clicky-link: aim:GoChat?RoomName=topsecretradionetwork&Exchange=5 (link works for either Windows or Mac; may work for Linux if you have the right library and options)
Or, AIM to alysoffoxdale to get an invite into the AIM room. You can try asking fuzzface00, but the DJ is often busy, and easily distracted.
