Hah! Take that, foul demons of chaos!
As dr_zrfq already said, my van's window - at the driver's seat, worse luck! - derailed and stuck in the down position last night. I did manage to get it mostly up again [insert off-color joke here], though, before it determinedly refused to budge another millimeter in any direction.
Unfortunately, today I forgot it was stuck, and went through a drivethrough for lunch - at which point the window loosed all its bonds, and now is pretty much all the way down, moves fairly freely, and refuses to consider "up" as an acceptable suggestion at all.
However, I win: I got home, and got a couple of plastic bags taped securely over it, and completed that operation ten whole minutes before the downpour began!
