Thanks to everybody who promptly toddled over to http://community.livejournal.com/lj_election_en/24131.html to support fuzzface00's nomination today - especially to those of you who don't even know him! ;D As of not quite an hour ago, he was offically recognized as having garnered the necessary 100 comments of support necessary to be on the actual ballot.
So what happens now? Well, according to http://community.livejournal.com/lj_election_en/profile:

The election poll will be posted from May 22, 2008 through May 29, 2008. We will announce it in news and the polls will be posted in lj_election_en and lj_election_ru. Users will be able to select their first, second, and third choice.
Voting in the poll
Users using the Cyrillic-language service may only vote in the lj_election_ru [sic] and all other users may only vote in the lj_election_en poll. Additional restrictions are:
-Only accounts created before March 11, 2008 may vote in this year's poll
-Only one account per email address may vote
Well, dang! So much for creating bajillions of new LJ accounts to vote with... ;>
