Could you at least say *why* you want to see me later?
I hate when my boss asks me to come to her office later in the day.
How long should I expect to be in there? What am I going for, anyway? Is it going to be a new project to do in my Copious Spare Time? Is it my annual review a month early? (No, wait; that was last week.) Am I being denied part or all of the leave I requested? Should I be searching my guilty conscience?
It just destroys my concentration until it's all over. But until I finish verifying my medicaids, I can't get off the phone and go find out...
...and then when I finally go over, she's not even there!
