Two funny bits: La Presse is reporting that none of the remaining Conservative candidates speak French especially well.
Also, for a party that was supposed to cease to exist after a certain time, the Bloc must find it somewhat embarrassing to have one of their MPs as Dean of the House -- Louis Plamondon, who is currently conducting the election, has been the MP for Bas-Richelieu--Nicolet--Bécancour (formerly just Richelieu) since I was three.
