Hey there!
Spots available immediately in a progressive, eco- and consumer- conscious, Montessori-based daycare.
This daycare puts emphasis on practical life skills (grooming, dressing, office supplies use, cooking, cleaning, utensil holding), respect for the environment and others, scientific inquiry, arts/creativity, and early language and math skills development. We recycle, compost, and are mindful of our paper and water use.
Healthy snacks and nutritional lunch will be provided (vegan and other dietary options available). Organic and locally purchased when available.
The daycare is bright and clean with separate classroom, large bathroom, kitchen/dining, and nap room.
Lead educator (ME!) has Bachelor and Masters in Education, Qc teaching license, and special needs certificate from U of T. And, most important of all: experience teaching young children using Montessori and Kumon methods.
Spots available for children able to walk and who do not nurse during the day.
Price is sliding scale 35$-45$/day, depending on the the ability of families. While multiple educators, organic food, and Montessori equipment do not come cheap, we want our program to be accessible as possible.
