City Laws regarding construction etc
Hey,
So I was awakened this morning at 6:55 by people ripping the apartment next to me and throwing stuff down into one of those big metal dump-trucky things which whooopeee just so happens to have been parked right outside my window. Grrrrr!
So I was wondering are they allowed to do this type of noisy construction/building whatever so early in the morning? I just actually saw signs a couple blocks away saying that there was no construction allowed until 10... Does anyone know what the bylaws etc say about this?
Also I just thought I'd mention it, I'm not a slugabed. I generally wake up around 8, but that doesn't mean I want to wake up to the sounds of things crashing by my head... Not fun!

EDIT: Thanks for the response everyone! I have to say I'm pretty pooped there's nothing I can do but I guess I'll just have to get used to it!
Also regarding the comments having been made about how everything loud gets done in the morning? It's soooo true in this case! They do all the thumping and jackhammering at 7 and then do moderately quiet stuff for a couple of hours after.
