A few weeks ago I went to the passport office in Pointe-Claire to renew my passport and get one for my kid. I was really surprised by the short line up. It didn't take very much time at all. When I got my first passport I lived in Ontario and went to the office in Mississauga and you had to be there about an hour before they even opened if you wanted to see an agent.
This time around it turned out that I couldn't renew my passport (but it would have been okay a few months ago!) so I had to find a guarantor and all that, so now I need to go to the passport office again. I'm cutting it pretty close and Pointe-Claire doesn't offer express service, so I'm planning on going to the office at Complexe Guy-Favreau.
My question is this: is the Guy-Favreau location a pleasant stroll in the park like the one at Pointe-Claire or is it the Line Up From Hell like Mississauga? Perhaps somewhere in between? What I really want to know is whether or not I need to be there at ass o'clock in the morning or if getting there around 8:30-9 would be okay. You know, based on personal experience, anecdotes, etc. If I get there and it's not dark out anymore, does that mean I'm too late?
Thanks in advance.
I can't tell if I'm even making any sense or not. *hits post*
