I have a pair of shoes that I simply adore, but after wearing them for several summers without socks and sweating, they are kind of stinky, and it pains me so much to toss them because they still are in good shape.
I have asked a few shoe people around my house if they offer the "disinfectant service", but they don't, but I know it exists because all the shoes that are sold at Village Des Valeurs/Salvation Army are "cleaned" (i have also asked some people that work there, but nobody seems to know exactly where the shoes go to be "cleaned"). I know it exists, and heard about it many years ago, but does anybody have any leads as to where?
