Mount Royal
I have friends visiting this weekend and really want to take them skating at Beaver Lake and/or snowshoeing on the mountain! Two questions:
1--We can rent skates and/or snowshoes up there, right?
2--Can we walk up the mountain despite all the snow? I usually go up the inclining path by Tam Tams (by Parc) but I'm not sure if this is feasible in mi-hiver! If not, is there anyway to get up to Beaver Lake on foot (from the Plateau) or do we need to take a cab? I suppose I could just walk over and test this out tomorrow, but I'm rather lazy :-)
