Fallen in Love
Today was my next-to-last day at the College (school). I brought my camera to take pictures of the classes, since we alternate and so next Monday I'll have the other groups. And today I found out that these kids are going to break my heart and I will not know how to say goodbye next week, because when I said "Today is technically our last day together, because next week I'll have the other group, and after that I leave," Jennifer folded her arms and would not work, and afterwards she hid from me during the time we normally play UNO together. But then after the correspondance club she was waiting for me outside the door, hesitating, trying to keep me loitering by useless jatter. And my feet were heavy when I walked to the tram, and I dread next week, and I don't know I will find the strength to walk away.
Really stresful week begins today, lots of exams, plus tomorrow we're making an "American meal" and Madame and Florence are making us really freaked out about it. Yesterday I went to the market with the intention of spending tons of money but didn't, I had had the idea of the perfect Xmas present and then the stall was no longer there. Pretty disapointed. Oh, but on Friday I went (SPONTANEOUSLY, PEOPLE!!) to the soccer match, Montpellier actually won, it was great fun, to explain European soccer let me just say that one section of the crowd had a DRUM and a bullhorn... Plus the team almost got into a fight which everyone from Duquesne knows I get really excited when that happens...
This weekend was also the Fetes des Vins, tons of wine-tasting at the Comedie plus I got to keep the wine-glass. Um what else? Oh yeah I got Sophia's package which was AWESOME and I thoroughly savoured it over Saturday's breakfast. Thanks!
