This is the image I'm trying to work with and ...I dunno I'm having a really hard time with it :

What's the effect you're trying to achieve?

Cropped sharp icon? that make sense?
I think I'm cropping it wrong because when I do it looks stretched.

Crop like you normally do and show me the print screen.

Oh... I see what's going on. You're trying to fit the whole picture into a 100x100 crop. Since the dimensions aren't the same value (like 500x500 or 450x450), if you try to crop the whole thing, it'll be stretched.

You can, but you can only include the main image (without the words). If you want to include the words, then you can make it into a 100xsomething lesser than100.
