*Optional (to take out the greenish color of the background)

Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Selective Color

Neutrals: Cyan: -35

1) Layers > New Adjustment Layers > Curves

Red/Green: Input: 100
Output: 135
Blue: Input: 100
Output: 140

2) Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation

Master: Saturation: +25 (Depends on your image. Please increase the saturation responsibly. You don't want to end up with a grainy image)

3) Layer > New Fill Layer > Solid Color

#212121 on Exclusion at 50% Opacity

4) Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Selective Color

Reds: Cyan: -50
Yellow: +40
Yellows: Cyan: +50
Yellow: -50
Neutrals: Cyan: +15
Magenta: +5
Yellow: -5
Black: -5
Blacks: Black: +100

5) Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Curves

Just press "Auto".

6) Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation

Master: Saturation: +15 (Depends on your image. Please increase the saturation responsibly. You don't want to end up with a grainy image)

And you're done!If your image is too bright due to the Curves layer, just duplicate your image and set it to multiply, adjusting the opacity to your heart's content. If your image is too dark on the other hand, just duplicate your base and set it to screen, adjusting the opacity as well.

Other examples (without the optional selective coloring):

(Base duplicated and set as Multiply at 25% Opacity)

(No enhancement done)

(Base duplicated and set as Screen at 45% Opacity)
