It's been a while...but. this is worthy of a post over here...
This is a hand cranked music machine which uses pegs in drums to strike/play notes. The transfer mechanism is steel marbles dropped onto the percussion and strings. Just working out the timing on the marble drop mechanism boggles my mind.
