New RP!
I've decided to start another roleplaying game at thecenter_net -- the current one I'm modding is plot-heavy and intensive, and I'd also like to have one more leisurely, kind of a muse playground with minimal plot.

THE CENTER
To the rest of the galaxy, it's a mystery: what is the Center?
Who are the mysterious aliens who live there? Why are they silent? Is it a waiting game that they're playing? Are they so absorbed in their own affairs, as beings of energy, that they don't deign to notice us?
Well. Not exactly.
The aliens discovered long ago that the best way to influence the world outside the Center isn't through crass physicality. That's far beneath them, now.
No, the best way is to slip into the fabric of the multiverse. If the events of the galaxy produce adverse circumstances, it's time to - just - shift, and then the universe is one in which those circumstances never surfaced at all.
It's not a perfect art. They make mistakes. Most of the time, the mistakes are easily disposable: a fraction of rock, a sliver of vacuum from a place utterly alien to them.
Then, sometimes, they get a living creature. A sentient being.
Unfortunately, a sentient being can't be discarded like a piece of rock. So they have to keep them.
It's an annoyance, but that's the price for altering the multiverse.
About the Game
The Center is a small, leisurely, player-driven game set in a space station, in which your character has been placed for safekeeping by a group of near-omnipotent aliens. It's open to any type of character application, from television to books to games to original characters.
